In reply to: Brighton Barbie: This tobacco chewing, brassy-haired Barbie still has not learned that you can't wear high-heeled sandals from Payless with no pedicure and without breaking a heel and falling while you chase your beer gutted hollow gold-chain wearing boyfriend. Her make-up is dark red lip liner with lips covered in a sparkly pink color or no fill-in at all. Her ensemble includes low-rise acid-washed jeans with assorted colored G-strings that stick out the back of her jeans, a white barely-there see-through shirt. Her long, layered hair is bleached/highlighted and BIG. Accessories include: CD-player equipped with Bon Jovi, rusty old Ford pick up. . DIBS!!!! josh

jeffers- Brother, it don't get better than fish tacos a la Martha, and some homemade pico de gallo and guac. ummm...guac.... Unfortunately, baby numero dos is scheduled for arrival tomorrow sometime after 7am, so I think I'm out for this trip. Looking on to the next possible outing---Is anyone in this group interested in going in together on a house rental for the Ouray Ice Fest? Geo, do you already know where you are staying?

In reply to: Commerce City Barbie: This white-trash model comes in Wrangler jeans two sizes too small, a NASCAR shirt, big hair, a six pack of Coors Light and a Hank, Jr. CD set. She can spit over 5 feet and she can kick Ken's ass when she's drunk. A pickup is available with Confederate flag bumper stickers. I'm reminded of the song by Confederate Railroad....

I'm sorry that I'll miss this gathering. It sounds like a great time! I'm working - I guess I could call in sick? Hmmmm? The possibilities are endless. I might be there.....that sick thing could happen. :) "I Can't SEE? I can't see going to work?" :) But then - you know - my passengers on my airplane might get pissed if I don't show and they miss their connections...what's up with that anyway? Don't they realize I have a party to attend? Peace, James

James, just sweet talk the babes in Crew Sched and have them drag you in (kicking and screaming, to keep up appearances) to fill a reserve crew between now and the trip. Then you'll be illegal on hours and able to attend. I'd definitely be up for the Icefest but that may be a busy time for me. Keep us posted and if there's any way to make it happen I'll be there. I've got the week before and after RMNP to play with and had already planned to make an early haul up high if the weather looks like a go. Gives me something to do and helps with acclimation so we ought to be able to climb in relative luxury.

NEW FROM MATTEL: RC.COM ACTION FIGURES--COLORADO EDITION --Flamer: Features articulated bulging bicepts and a hearty pull-string laugh. Warning: Highly flamable, keep away from wives, girlfriends, sisters. --Skibby: Includes awesome fish tacos and other assorted goodies. Bulging bicepts optional. Warning: Not edible. --Mntgeo: Features bulging calf muscles. Real-looking moustache included. Mr. Potato Head doll sold separately. --Wigglestick: Accessories include "Out of job, any change helps" cardboard sign. Bulging calf muscles not available. Hhehe I'M IN. Let's do this thing. I have to sleep somewhere cheap, unfortunately. Like in the car or outside or something. But I can help with food. And beer. I'm down for something at Lumpy. Mainliner anyone? Or perhaps one of the routes on Hallets? Better than love?

I'm in for the cabin, and can send some $$ to help reserve us a place. How and to whom? I also plan on bringing a fair amount of various adult beverages... beer, wine, and perhaps a bottle of Irish Whisky.

By the way... Who is bringing the camera? We do need to record this for posterity sake (and also for future blackmail ammo, if needed!)

I'm in +2 (Scott and Leigh) for camping (2 tents). I'll bring some food along as well, plus beer of course. Reno: If you ask Scott (aka Posterboy for Suck) about it, he'll probably tell you that whiskey + climbing is not such a good idea. :) Scott at the last gathering: http://www.sage-tech.net/...dville_034.sized.jpg

I suggest we use a giant blow-up of the above picture as the marker for the cabins and tents, so they are easy to find. Maybe we could have Tshirts made too?

So I really want to join you all for the weekend of climbing in RMNP, but I am in the middle of remodeling the main bathroom in my house (which means my entire house is a construction zone, and my roommate isn't too keen on my taking off to climb instead of work on it.) I'm pretty sure I have managed to justify that I can go Friday night through Saturday evening, or Saturday evening through Sunday evening. I would be in for camping if I can make it. How do commitments for a campsite work? Do I need to let you know about that now Skibby, do you need a deposit for a campsite? I am going to bust my ass getting work done in between now and then so I can go, so I should know for sure soon, like after this weekend. As far as which day I go, I’d like to plan around a climb. Anyone available for a 5.8 or less alpine climb on Saturday or Sunday (weather permitting of course)? I'd love to do another route on Hallet's or something similar. Of course nearly as importantly, which night is going to be the better party?! I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again. Carson
