In reply to: got up at 0230 this morning. met my running partners. ran mt. massive from north to south along the ridge. blowing snow and clouds. 6 inches on ground and one-foot drifts. below freezing the whole time. no one complained. no one died. so there. Geo, I got up at 8:30, rolled to the coffee shop, soaked up some sun on my patio and now I am heading up Boulder Canyon to place some bolts on a sun-drench cliff. No complaints, I am happy. So there. Dude, you got to move to the Front Range.

Bob -- Actually, this is an important consideration. I don't care how much Raoula is on the brain, an Oh-dark-30 run of Mt. Massive (is this a compensating for something else thang?) in the snow is likely to produce some shrinkage. Especially for a guy of Geo's advance age.

Dude, you got to move to the Front Range. Got up at 5:00. Rolled over to Bally's and watched Raoula's scandinavian cousin beat the stairmaster into submission for 15 minutes. Got my heart rate up to 165, even before starting up on the treadmill. Rolled into the office, plopped by bulbous behind on a big padded chair, grabbed a Pepsi and a donut, and started clicking away at e-mails claiming to enlarge body parts not normally associated with the male gender. After a few phone calls, a tedious meeting, and a lame discussion on office politics, it's off to Wendy's for a double stack and fries. Life just doesn't get any better than this is suburbia.

I'm there Tent camping or daytripping for me. I'm not sure which. I guess that it just depends on how much climbing or drinking time I get in. Is there going to be a central rallying point?

In reply to: reno -- but back to reality ... in the frigid night you and i will slide into our bivvies sans sleeping bags and spoon the way manly men do in such situations, and -- when fitful sleep finally overcomes us -- dream tremulous dreams until the cold creeps down into our bones and we both awaken in misery and i ask, "so, jeff ... what were you dreaming about?" and you answer simply, " raoula." OK... Pepperoni pizza is sprayed all over my monitor, and the Fat Tire I was drinking is frothing out of my nose... Thanks for the laugh, Geo. See ya next weekend!

In reply to: Well, boys, you'll be happy to know that this cabin around there will be a BOY'S room - the one bedroom has two QUEEN beds in it. Kelly and I will be certain to keep Raoula away from you. We'll also wear our earplugs........ Snuggle on! Does this mean we get Raoula in the girls' room? Cool!

Wow! I'm impressed! Hot damm, woman!!!

Shuz up or the inflate-a-sheep get's it! I fed Torrey some mediteranian food last night so she's not feeling so hot. Hmmmm. . . so I have this friend that would probably want Raoula. Where can I (oops) she get him?

silly, silly girls ... raoula is the mexican senorita of my dreams. She has thick, brown hair, brown eyes that'll burn a hole through your soul, and the kind of knobs that an old-time radio would be proud of and you wouldn't mind fiddling with to get better reception. she's MY fantasy. don't pee on my campfire.

This is what geo meant to say: Raoula is the mexican sheep of my dreams. She has thick white wool, brown eyes that'll burn a hole through your soul, and the kind of utters that any sheep of her caliber would be proud of. . . We all know you too well. You can't pull the wool over our eyes. HA HA. That was funny.
