OMG, I cannot believe the kindness and generosity of you guys (and gals) ... I just received an email from Sauron .. it contains an itinerary from Dallas to Manchester .. apparently, I will be doing disco with Ms T in Rumney ... Even as I sit here, I still cannot believe that people actually raised money to fly me out there ... I have no idea how I will ever repay you guys .. but I will, somehow .. and I'm very very thankful to be surrounded by such kind and generous folk as yourselves ... Thank you ! ! ! ! ! ! !! *big hugs to everyone* *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze* [ This Message was edited by: clymbr_chk on 2002-09-09 09:45 ]

OK, JAN GROUP! I'm going to be heading to Rumney for some climbing Friday afternoon/evening as well, so here's the plan: If you'll be arriving early-ish, meet me at the same time (tentatively 4:30) and place (the main parking lot at Rumney?) as the Jules group meeting. Then we'll all be together. If you're arriving later than 4:30, meet back at the place in Campton at 8. I'll be sure to be there by then to have the place open for everyone, and you're welcome to come anytime from then on. I know there are some who won't be arriving until pretty late. I'll post tomorrow night with exact directions to the house in Campton. Jan

Well, ladies and gentlemen... The ticket is purchased. Total price was a little over $400. (Yes, I know - expensive, that's what she gets for living in Dallas..) I was going to post a list of the people who have made this possible (and possibly their contributions) - I still can, if this is of anyone's interest... Each and every one of you who said they were willing to donate money to help fly Amber out to Rumney, will get YOUR OWN PERSONALIZED PM from yours truly, me. I think I speak for everybody who has met Amber, when I say Thank you for having made this possible... Thank you, - d. [ This Message was edited by: sauron on 2002-09-09 11:03 ]

nah, you just have to show up at a gathering and kick some serious hacky a$$ ... maybe slackline with some non-alcoholic beer ... hehehe .. or take a ridiculously long "hike" .. or builder everything in sight, even if that includes bridges at aqua-centers ... hehehe .. oh, the memories, they will surely surely last! .. the bruises from "pass the package" go away, though, thankfully .. hee hee [ This Message was edited by: clymbr_chk on 2002-09-09 11:33 ]

So there's the Jules Group and the Jan Group... and independents? We should probably post a note on the bulletin board in the main parking lot telling the time, who's there, and where we're headed. That way we can point any stragglers in our direction. Ooooh. Month and two days. *grins* WHEEEE!

Didn't mean to start this group thing, but it was the only way I could figure out who is going where ... This is going to be great ... One thing ... is this event open to whomever wants to come and play? If it is, I was going to post it at a climbing gym and at Dartmouth College. What are peoples thoughts on this?

I am currently accepting applications for the Don Diego de la Vega fan club. Those who get their screen names from mystic bad guys in J.R.R. Tolken novels need not apply. -Don Diego-

Amber: unfortunately, unless you have secretly discovered a way to warp the space time continuum then you will have to wait. Also, it may just be a rumour but the Trans-state Restaurant Informants Executive(TRIPE) has circulated a warning of freaks with blue toes having addiction meetings and being so loud they scare customers. It may be good that we are staying away from public places. Look what happened with just the Original Jackass Crew, and now we have JackASSociates swelling those numbers. Oh how the mayhem will grow exponentially. I would be happy to re-instate my role again, just pass me a red bull......no..not the red bull. You don't know what its capable of. If anyone doesn't like the division of RC at this gathering let's look at some of the potential splits: original jackass/jackASSociate coolaid drinkers/coolaid mixers blue/pink groupies/survivors If you dont wish to divide, then may I suggest you unite on one side, come to the DARK SIDE
