I just figured it out DD is using this lame WAR excuse as reason NOT to get his nails painted blue. If he was a real man and wasnt able to attend he would paint his nails blue in protest fo not being able to show up and the take a pic for posting on this site. Granted the tourmenting would stop even then i think it would be funny as hell for him to paint his nails blue when hes in NC. Just my view

Chances are... Karen and I won't be able to make this Gig. During this time, all vital and critical systems here at the Nuke will be open and require me onsight. There's still a slight chance though, and believe me... We have come this close to NH, so we want to make it. ~Adam

Lew... Can you call my boss for me ??? Please !!! Karen and I are only a few hours from Rumney, and it would suck if we came all this way and couldn't go. I even picked this job because it's so close.

DonD: War is just plain wrong. Tell your boss you refuse on health and safety grounds. Using war as an excuse is just plain wrong too. Pink nails is just plain wrong but not blue. Adam: Would love to see you in NH but if you have to work then tell your boss it's just plain wrong. Karen: If adam is working then why not come hang with some climbing freaks. We're harmless...sorta, but you know all about that eh?

In an effort to keep our cyber buddy near the computer and present at Rumney, I have tracked down a couple of military tactics to help keep Don at home. I'm still working on some excuses for Adam, but at the risk of stirring up the gender thing again, may I humbly suggest the following options for Don: Option 1 Take all American women who are within five years of menopause - train us for a few weeks, outfit us with automatic weapons, grenades, gas masks, moisturizer with SPF15, Prozac, hormones, chocolate, and canned tuna - drop us (parachuted, preferably) across the landscape of Afghanistan, and let us do what comes naturally. Think about it. Our anger quotient alone, even when doing standard stuff like grocery shopping and paying bills, is formidable enough to make even armed men in turbans tremble. We've had our children, we would gladly suffer or die to protect them and their future. We'd like to get away from our husbands, if they haven't left already. And for those of us who are single, the prospect of finding a good man with whom to share life is about as likely as being struck by lightning. We have nothing to lose. We've survived the water diet, the protein diet, the carbohydrate diet, and the grapefruit diet in gyms and saunas across America and never lost a pound. We can easily survive months in the hostile terrain of Afghanistan with no food at all! We've spent years tracking down our husbands or lovers in bars, hardware stores, or sporting events...finding bin Laden in some cave will be no problem. Uniting all the warring tribes of Afghanistan in a new government? Oh, please...we've planned the seating arrangements for in-laws and extended families at Thanksgiving dinners for years...we understand tribal warfare. Between us, we've divorced enough husbands to know every trick there is for how they hide, launder, or cover up bank accounts and money sources. We know how to find that money and we know how to seize it ... with or without the government's help! Let us go and fight. The Taliban hates women. Imagine their terror as we crawl like ants with hot-flashes over their godforsaken terrain. I'm going to write my Congresswoman. Or, Option 2 As for what to do with Osama bin Laden: Killing him may only create a martyr. Holding him prisoner may inspire his comrades to take hostages to demand his release. Therefore, it has been suggested that we do neither. Let the Special Forces, Seals or whatever covertly capture him, fly him to an undisclosed hospital and have surgeons quickly perform a complete sex change operation. Then we return her to Afghanistan to live as a woman under the Taliban. Finally, Option 3 There's also the FBI's tele-marketing tactic .. but I cant find an active link for it anywhere .. In any case, write congress, bug your senators, help keep Don home ! Edit: I admit that the tactics are a little outdated, but can be modified and applied to various situations across the middle east. .. [ This Message was edited by: clymbr_chk on 2002-10-01 20:09 ]

Fawkes, the good guide is "Rumney" by Ward Smith. In fact, it's not worth getting any other guide because it will be way outdated. If you can wait, there's a store right next to Rumney (1 minute away) that sells the guidebooks for $25 (that's the retail price).

Adam give me the # for your boss and Ill do my best. Amber I think it would be best if you called the nuke plant he was working at now and saying that you or someone else is planning on bombing it in the near futer and give the dates of the rumney gathering. that way all work will be ended for those dates and adma and karen can go. and karen can beg me to let her take my dog with her evil laughter all to no avail my darling hahahaha

New routes, eh Alan? There's a new 13+ and something harder at New Wave, plus the G-spot area which I hear is still pretty dirty, not to mention having a stupid name that sounds like it was made up by a bunch of 15 year-old boulderers... anything else I'm missing?
