Myself and jsimic are heading down on the Thursday night after slaving away at work all day, and were wondering if there was any place we could crash a couple of tents until Monday. Can't wait to get some world class climbing in. Cheers, Everyone....

Hi Marbrown, I'm not sure if I'll be there Thursday night, so I don't want to promise you space if I don't know if I'll be able to give it to you... Just called these guys for ya: Mountain Pines Campground 2759 Route 25 Rumney, NH 03266 #(603) 786-9934 They have plenty of sites available... you two could stay there Thurs. night for $10, and then merge into either my group or Jan's on Friday (we're meeting at 4:30pm on Friday.) so you'd only have to be there for one night. If this won't work, PM me and I'll try and help you guys work something else out. -Jules

Alan, the foliage was one of the reasons I initially picked this weekend. They're changing here... look great already. Should be stunning by next weekend.

juliana, That sound's great. We might just stop off at my parents place on Thursday night in Brockville just east of Kingston, and get up super early in the morning and drive the rest of the way. If not we'll try going to Mountain Pines Campground for Thursday night. Where about's can we meet up with you guys on Friday. Jsimic has been to Rumney once before, but it's my first so I'm new to the area. It's going to be a great weekend, and thank's so much. Mark.

We'll be meeting in the main parking lot... How about near the bulletin board? We'll also leave a note on the board saying where we are, in case anyone comes later.

Way back in the thirties or forties(pages that is) talk was of Halloween, hippies and disco. One night we were going to tell halloween tales by the fire and disco can be pretty scary so hopefully folks can fit one of those themes. One week from now and many will be sleeping at Juliana's or Jan's.....or not /me does happy dance then remembers I'm up to go to work right now

jules if i were you i would be pretty pissed at i.karen and rrrAdam. I see they can take time off work to goto Canada but cant take time off for a meeting. I think in protest we should all boycott California especialy SoCal where they are from. Ill volunteer myself for the hard duty of watching over J Tree and making sure noone from the east coast is in there climbing.

Lew: that's because Canada rocks. Just make sure you don't climb in J-tree. I just got back from Waterloo so I have to grab my pad and shoes and go catch those guys down the Glen. Later guys, oh and Jess, Why are YOU online and not in the Glen. Shame on you. /whispers "Rumney......getting closer"
