Alan, I'm pretty sure my grandparents don't have a TV/VCR at the place, but they might... I've seen Uncommon Ground, and it's really good. And I think it was tcollins who volunteered to bring a stereo to my place, so bring that music!

I would like to nominate Rottenice to the position of official coffee-fixer-guy. He owned a coffee shop and in our little kitchen is a starbucks-grade espresso machine. Unfortunately, it weighs like three hundred pounds so it won't be joining us.

That's amusing - my bank here in texASS has a sign in the window:
"We will be closed, Oct 14th, in observance of Columbus day"
It was my understanding that banks/financial institutions observe as many "holidays" as possible, to have as much time off from work as possible..

Yeah bankers have it easy. Unfortunetly my job is tied to the stock exchanges, which have their own set of holidays. Bummer for me, but I do get a lot of extra vacation time, just can't use it this monday.
