I'm in the market for a new pair of shoes. I'm primarily a boulderer and a face climber.

Here's some shoes I'm checking into, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some opinions (don't tell to try lots of shoes on, I KNOW THAT) I was wondering if you have something else to say...

Black Diamond's Dominator V
La Sportiva's Katana
Boreal's Pyros
5.10s Dragon
Zlipper
X-ray
Anasazi

I'm kinda of leaning towards a velco system or a slipper-like shoe (because I'm impatient with lacing mine every time I work out) but if you know of a good lace shoe too, let me know!

Thanx and may your day be filled with the Joy of Christ!
Randy

Stay away from boreal due to there s--- rubber. The anasazi and X-ray are basicly the same shoe, there made on the same last the only diff is the x-ray is made of lether, and the anasazi is synthetic. Xray will strech more, and wont give you thoughs nasty blisters! I had to return my anasazi's cuz they just hurt too much. however, they could edge on anything! i was very impressed by there preformance, but I do alot of multi-pitch climbing as well, so they wernt for me. I've never tryed the dragons, but i've heard good stuff about them. I've tryed the zlipper, it's basicly the moccaysem with a zipper...i didnt really like it. the La Sportiva's Katana is an expensive anasazi it look kool though! have you had a look at the Red Chili Dos Equis? you might want to concider that shoe as well if it fits you. take a look Here , it's has a large review database.

Rock On,
Jeremy

Read one of the SEVERAL threads regarding all brands and styles of shoes.

Moving this to Gear Heads, and locking it.
