I really like it. Except for the McDonalds color theme. I live in Ohio. People would start asking me what McDonalds I got it at. And I think it would look better with a couple of trees (in the same style as the star) with a moon or in front of a stylized picture of El Cap or half dome. I really think you should take this theme and run with it. As a female climber, I would love to have one with a female figure climbing (composed of gear).

Sometimes I like wearing one from a gym or manufacturer that I have direct knowledge of, and am willing to tout their qualities. Other times I like to be original, or awestruck by the graphics. My first thought was that your design was novel and I admired the effort, but like DMT, I don't know you from Adam and can't blindly subscribe to a color scheme that I don't love and a website I don't know. Besides, I hate people looking at the small print on my body. It's degrading.

I know this thread is about Climbing Trash' design being produced through a printer of his choice. But - Just a note for those who have some concerns about buying blindly on the internet. IF you like the design enough to pay the price he's listed on CafePress, they have a 100% Customer Satisfaction policy. If the color isn't what you expected, the shirt or print quality isn't as you'd wished, the size is wrong...you got religion and now see climbing as the devil's handiwork - for what ever reason - CafePress will replace or refund. They are exceptionally good about this. I don't know the shirt he is using for his own print job here(but another poster has vouched for it as being good for the cost, I think). But the "dark color Men's/Women's T" that is in his CP shop is very good for what it costs. It doesn't have one of those "ooooh, soffffft like Charmin TP" hands, but then....it doesn't cost $35 either. I've probably ordered, for various reasons, about 100 different shirts from CP since I started my shop. They do a good job, and again, they do have an excellent satisfaction policy. One thing I would say that bugs me about CP, though, is they price the women's shirts higher than the men's. I even them out and sell at the same price, but not all sellers do. Climbing Trash - it might be something you might consider! And about the design - while for sure it isn't for everyone, but it's a well done graphic for the concept and theme that it has. I am jealous, because I could never have made it!

They screwed up an order of mine once and replaced what was missing free of charge. i didn't realize that about the women's apparel. I'll have to go make some adjustments in my shop. I updated the original post this morning with some pics of the printed design for those who may still be interested. Oh, and Edge...don't knock the DP. and Dewars 'till you've tried it.

I think you are too picky in feeling the print isn't as crisp as you like. The shirt looks great. Of course it is going to be a different cast than a computer screen with the lighting behind it. But I look at the photo images and say that's a good match. They look great! FYI - I see in CT's shop he added a sticker with the same design. Some people would probably like that for their car.

If I have another printing done I'll use a local company I can sit down with and may tweak the design a bit so some of the detail is easier to print. So far everyone that's gotten a shirt has been happy with it.
