Hi I have developed a climbing game for android. I would be very grateful if you could check it out and maybe write a review, comment of the game. You can download the game on Google Play: https://play.google.com/...d=com.oxylus.climber Tomaz

Hard to play on my phone (HTC EVO). Can't see the hands/feet when I select them, so it's tough to get them placed. I'll try on my wife's tablet (7") tonight, probably better on a bigger screen. Would be fun on OUYA, I bet, if you could work out the controls. Nice to see an app that doesn't require special permissions.

Hmm, I have a limited space for testing. I tried the game on Sony Xperia arc S and on Samsung galaxy S. What is the screen resolution on your HTC? Let me know how it went on your tablet?

It's not a resolution issue, it's a fat fingers issue. I'm finding if I angle my phone to look "under" my fingers I can do better. A stylus would probably help too.

will try to solve this issue. Maybe increase the size of the circle in which you can drag arms or legs or put some kind of soon zoom in place

Sorry, couldn't play on the tablet. Totally forgot that the Kindle is not compatible with Google Play.

I see you increased the circle size, but that doesn't seem to help. The problem is, when I'm dragging the hands and feet, my finger obscures them as well as the holds, so it's hard to place them, especially when I'm trying to do a dynamic move. Maybe increase the "magnetism" of the holds and limbs, so it doesn't need to be so precise? Fun game, though. I like it.

First thing my 12 year old said was, " What? No flagging!" I too have trouble seeing where my fingers are placing the hands and feet. Is it possible to have the circles extend to the sides and just have a line connecting to the hands and feet? Also, it said try to and rest. How do I rest? Maybe I missed some instructions. I also wish the person wasn't so floppy if you miss a hold. Fun game though, thanks for making it.

Hi SilverMan Thank you for the effort and commenting the game. Just now I'm working on a feature, which will hopefully help you guys in playing - hitting the holds. Hope it will be online today. How to rest while climbing: - just tap the arm you would like to rest - while the arm is moving around, you can see the energy bar for that arm rising If you open the menu while playing, this will also pause your game, you can see some additional info on that route or some advice. Great, thanks. Also, what about the ability to match hands or hand and foot on a hold?

I have uploaded a new APK. Couldn't yet implement a zoom feature because of technical issues. But I have added a helper and as I have tested it, it worked pretty good. Hope you like it. I like the idea of matching hands. Will try to implement this in the next version, but only for the green holds.

I'm still trying to figure out how to rest. I tap the arm but it just pops off the hold. What about bringing the tired arm to the chalk bag?

hm hm, the way I see it, is that as soon as you lift your hand you are resting. same as in climbing. this becomes also very useful on harder routes. and also as it pops of the hold, the energy bar rises. just give it some time. but I understand your concern and will work something out. hopefully I'll have the new feature ready by monday. and thank you for all the comments, they realy mean a lot to me.
