Hi :)
My name is Nadja and I'm a 22 year old climbing freak from Sealand, Denmark..
I have never been to the states before, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the climbing communities in California?
My plan was to travel around CA and maybe a couple of other states for around three months, and visit the different national parks such as Yosemite and J-tree.
Since I'm traveling alone, I was just wondering if it's easy to meet up with other climbers and stuff like that? :)

Yeah, meeting up with other climbers shouldn't be too hard at any of the popular climbing areas, but it does depend on the time of year. You're probably not going to find many partners in J-tree during the summer, nor in Yosemite in the winter.

Post up on here and on mountainproject.com when you are looking for partners. You'll probably find partners ok. Camp 4 in Yosemite is a good place to find partners if you're there.

Yosemite in May should be ok. Normally, it' be a great month to visit with average high and low temp of 22C/7C and 4.4 cm of rain for the month. However, this year, who knows. I was up there last weekend and it was already in short sleeves. It has been a very warm, dry year here. It's not quite prime tourist season, but it will start becoming crowded then. Camping can be a problem. Camp 4 is the only walk-in camp ground in the Valley, so get in line early to get a site or reserve a campsite elsewhere well in advance (could be too late already). Or find suitable camping just outside the valley. Good luck.

Just as another FYI, if you are starting a three month trip in may, you probably don't want to do J-tree. While it is possible to climb in the shade during the summer in J-tree, your time would be much better spent at cooler (higher elevation)climbing areas.
