For the Petzl Voltige vs the Black Diamond chest harness? I realize they're used in addition to a climbing harness but does the Petzl tie point that pulls simultaneous on the over and under straps make any difference versus the Black Diamond that appears to pull at the under strap first and the over strap then pulls off of that? Thanks.

No difference at all, they both load the shoulder straps first since they are for when you fall upside down.
