Been climbing close to 20 years, now. I both sport and trad climb, but these days I find that I love to do long trad routes. On trad generally 5.9 to mid-5.10 is where I find excitement, but I'll second harder and I'm not snobby about climbing easier. Actually, I LOVE to climb easier as long as it's long and quality (hello, Red Rocks!).
I'm interested in aid, but still kind of an aid noob. We fixed and fired Space Shot in April 2005 and did Prodigal Sun on a day in Sept 05. Like to get up a few more walls the next couple of years.
I'm also a runner and a skiier. Just downhill, no tele, but have been getting better, which is always a good feeling.
Yadda yadda yadda. Job. Check. Girlfriend. Check (I'm mean, uhh, verrry verry happy with GF, if you're reading this baby!). She's my main partner actually, which is very cool.
Also, since August 2004, I've been trying to record ascents where I have some beta to offer. I've done more routes than is recorded, but I don't really have time to mess with it just to say I've climbed it. Just wanted to offer some beta on trad routes I've led recently (for my own reference as much as anything). PM me if you've got questions. Take it easy, Bret.
