Ha! Um... no.
There ARE scholarships available if you want to become a guide, but that's the only one I can think of that's related in any way.

The ACC (alpine club of Canada) provides scholarships, I just got an email about one.

You are right acorneau, i also have heard about scholarships given especially for those who complete mountain guide training with a specific performance level. there are a lot of sports schools that provide special courses in mountaineering, ice climbing and rock climbing. They itself provide scholarships for those who perform well.
