It's the first night shift I've done in a while with just an hour or so left before I'm done. I'm just setting down with a lemon tea, you're welcome to share but you'll have to fend for yourselves after this. 8^) I set up the dome chair and there's a barrel of whipped cream over in the corner... have at it boys and girls.

Buenos días gente. I've already hooked myself up to the CIVS, and like I said, I'm taking it with me 'till the end of the month. Just waiting for the rest of the team so we can head off to Nicaragua. Expect to be back at some point during the weekend so we can do another equipment check and get rolling to Guatemala on Tuesday. Ohh joy... Anyway, have a couple of Irish-anything for me, and clip a couple of bolt on my behalf too (at eleast). Eggs, bacon, hash browns, gallo pinto (I bet very few of you know what that is), steak and pancakes are on the grills. Coffee comes in two versions, boot-black and tar-thick. -F

I'm skipping my 10 HS reunion to celebrate our daughter's 2nd bday early. The due date (Nov 3) is way too close to her actual bday (Oct 29). Actually, I think it's time for a poll. BRB

Good morning Grant. Wow. Haven't seen the DoMe chair in a while. With whipped cream even. Annie would be so proud. Arret, my guess is (again) the 30th. It's such a good day to have a baby. Morning kids. Need coffee. Lots of coffee. Had bio lab at 8:30 this morning and am getting ready to go into the most boring class known to man where she goes through the notes so fast that my only hope is to bring my laptop and type to keep up with her. No way I can write that fast.

In reply to: In reply to: its the women in the picture........yikes!!! Exactly!!! Go to http://www.thedomechair.com ( maybe not work safe)and click on AVN pics. They get even scarier. (Also closer to violating the TOS, so I refrained) I can do this can't I?? http://www.thedomechair.com/DSCF0025.JPG  Now I meant post the link but another possibility comes to mind when I say "do this" and we ARE talking about the DoMe chair. Of course when it comes to the Terms Of Service, TOS and TOSS could be so easily confused by the innuendo crowd. :? Like "Don't go there or you'll get TOS'ed off".

Grant, just what are you working at now? Working night shift sith access to the internet? Not shabby. Night shifts are pretty easy, but I never really dug them, screwed me up wheneve I went back to and afternoon or day shift. But it looks like they'll be moving me from supervision to engineering again. I know that they're just doing it to get me back to work sooner, but heck, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Looking forward to getting back to the engineering department. And think, it only took a few broken bones to get them to change my department!

I wasn't exactly thrilled with the thoughts of night shift until I thought "Hmmm... finished at 8am, then off to the mountains to swing tools, home to bed - it might just work out" :righton: on the department switch. I know that was a major bugbear for you. I hope you'll still quit though and head out west  Major trauma = department switch Big payrise = :tinfoilhat: Don't do it... not worth it
