Conditions report from the Seneca Valley-

Sun, wind, and plenty of drying rock. The week threatens some rain, but the rivers are beginning to go down, so drainage is again possible, unlike the earlier part of the year and month, when it was all pretty much running on top of puddles....

Seneca was dry enough, Sunday, and Franklin was only mildly wet in the predictable spots (parking lot walls, under the deeper roofs, pockets near cracks, etc). If it rains, you will still be able to crank the right variation on Limestoned, (left end of the parking lot wall, starts on the left side of the cave) but Route of All Evil will be dripping and SLAP will also be seeping. The highest walls, of course, dry first, and are generally crankable by mid-morning, once it clears.

Still planning on Ronin's Breakfast Burritos this weekend and next... what's the count for Saturday morning, as of now, folks?

NICE!! - i was thinking today when i looked up the weather..

where's GREY"S forcast????

yeah...but most of the time were looking at less than 30 % rain..that's a drought this time of year!

looking forward to breakfast! - meat please ;)

and mike...think we may need a water pump...

can you call me???

WOW I wish I knew about this thang sooner. It sounds like theres going to be some fun to be had. Ive enjoyed many rounds at Seneca, and one at Nelson, and always wanted to spend more time there. I cant imagine having that nice rock and a kickass camping jamboree to boot. I liked the post "Id like to come, but I think Ill do some climbing instead" Kudos to those who are putting this together(climbinganne?) I hope this goes on next year. I could certainly help with the beverages(PA homebrew at its best) Be Safe Have Fun and

Have any of you noticed how the Seneca Rocks webcam peers one day into the future? How do they do that? :?

I never noticed the date on the webcam before. That's cool though. I wish I could see into the future.

Well I just got my reservation for a 1/2 keg of Victory Hopdevil Ale (for those of you not in the know - it's PA's best microbrew), which I'll be bringing down with me. Only broke my bank account for about a $100 (yes i am taking donations  ).

I have the tap for it and all but my question is does anyone have a container to put this in to keep cold on ice or something? It's coming down with me on thursday night for the first weekend only!

If anyone has a 20# propane tank and a heater attachment, please bring it!!!

I just bought 2 huge tarps (20x30) to build a sauna of sorts, to stay nice and warm... The only thing is, if we don't have a propane heater, we'll be forced to use hot coals and rocks.

* Could also use several 8 foot 2x2's to build a proper framework for the sauna, if anyone will be driving a vehicle that could fit them in. If someone brings them, then also don't forget a hammer and a lot of proper sized nails, and a roll or 3 of duct tape... If we don't get this stuff, then we'll be forced to use trees and ropes to build it!
