Bruce, aka. Brutus of Wyde, has been climbing for about 35 years: Trad, ice, alpine, backcountry, big walls and sport, ranging from Alaska and Canada to the sandstone of the Southwest Slickrock country. he is currently confined to the Old Climbers' Home in Oakland, California, but occasionally continues his exploration of the blank areas off the edge of the map.
