Hey there, I will be in Huaraz in late june and most of july, also looking for climbing partners. Let me know what your plans are...skill level etc...As for me, I really have no plans...just climb as much as possible...would like to do mostly beginner and intermediate climbs, but willing to do more advanced stuff if I find a partner with the expertise. I also speak a bit a spanish, its rough, but enough to get by. I also wouldn't mind doing some moderate trad routes if I decide to bring the full rack - I don't know what the potential there is? later, seth

I will be in Huaraz in the end of June. There is plenty of climbing there, albeit at altitude. Quebrada Llaca is one of the places I would like to visit. Please write me if you want to join forces! Dmitriy P.s. Can do upto 5.10+ on trad at sea level.

Hi, I am in Huaraz now ... june 6 2005 .... Just arrived. Itīs awesome. I am here until July 19 and just want to climb as much as possible. I am an experience climber, but not professional. I am more of an alpine snow-ice climber looking to get up some peaks, but lead 10.c ... canadian rockies rating ...alpine rock and would be interested in playing around rock as well. Anyone out there whoīs interested, please contact me at tschnugg@gmail.com I will be on a acclimitising trek in a coule days, for about 3 or 4 days, so I may not be able to reach you then, but letīs try to hook up. Conditions in the alpine are supposedly pretty good from what a few of the guides tell me ... then again, perhaps theyīre trying to sell something ... I have 60m dry half ropes, 5 ice screws, and sharps. lotīs of rental places here with decent gear if you need it. cheers.

Ill be in Huaraz, acclimatized , hoping to attempt a few peaks from July 25th to August 1st and again August 10- 18th. If anyone is interested - shoot me an email I have some experience in the High Andes from last year in Huaraz on Vallanaraju and in Ecuador I recently summited Chimborazo and others. I can lead multipitch 5'10 rock, not that comfortable leading severe ice. shoot me an email if you want to do some climbing with me.
