Sad news about Steve Johnson, longtime Arizona route developer and great guy. He was rappelling down an unclimbed face to put in a route and he was attacked by bees.
He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
He and his dog both died as a result of bee stings. His rope was next to a beehive and his friends found him still attached to the rope.
