A few weeks ago I was lifting a crashpad loaded with a bunch of heavy stuff, and I felt a slight pull in my left groin. It didn't affect my climbing at all, but after 3 1/2 weeks I can still feel tightness and a mild discomfort when I stretch the area (for example, when walking fast, or if I do a very high step with my left foot). I self-examined to see if I could feel an inguinal hernia; I had surgery to repair one in 1995. There's nothing obvious to the touch, and both sides feel exactly the same. Still, the last thing I want is to undergo hernia surgery again. I'd like to see a doctor to make sure everything is ok (if by any chance anyone reading this can recommend a doctor in the Bay Area, that would be awesome). Besides the doctor visit, any tips or advice are welcome. So far the best I have is this: http://www.webmd.com/...-exercise/groin-pull
