Hello
I have been climbing for 4 - 5 months and am beginning to experience soreness where my fingertips bends. I suspect it being caused by too much crimping.
Is this tendonitis?
Should i completely avoid climbing or can i safely climb with open hand?
Hope anyone out there can help
Claes

You're probably overdoing it. See a doctor. Unless you think medical diagnosis over the internet by people with unknown qualifications is somehow more valid.
You also might want to check the 8000 other threads on this site where similar injuries have been discussed.

The end-range extension of the DIP which occurs in crimping can cause a host of problems, from pulleys to arthritis, to volar plate injuries.

Relative rest for a couple weeks, then try back again using open grip, see how it goes.

Okay, thank you
I only experience the pain in my right middle finger, would arthritis still be plausible only experiencing it in one finger?

Yes, of course. "Arthritis" means, "Inflammation of joint". It is not necessary for arthritis to occur in multiple joints.
