OK everyone, as some of you know I'm going to the Red soon, (actually leaving this coming Thursday) and I have a couple questions. First, we were going to try going to a couple of new areas that we haven't been to. However, I know that there are certain areas that are closed, but I don't remember the names. Does anyone know for sure where it's closed? Second, we have a variety of people going, so we need some areas that have from 5.8 up to 5.11's. Where are the best climbs besides Left Flank, Phantasia, and the Military Wall? I think that's all for now, and any help will be greatly appreciated!

Climbs you must do: Torrent Falls: Bandolier, 5.11a Centerfire, 5.11c Bare Metal Teen, 5,12a Military Wall: Fuzzy Undercling, 5.11a Tissue Tiger, 5.12b Super Slab, 5.12c (nice job on that one Manboy, 5th ascent, 1st non-local) Left Flank: Defy the Laws of Tradition, 510a Too Many Puppies, 5.12a Roadside: A.W.O.L. 5.10c Ro Shampo, 5.12c The Return Of Chris Snyder, 5.11d The Lode: Anything in the madness cave with draws on it. Climb high and whip big. Ale81, 5.12b If you want steep and hard then check out Marley, Drive-By etc. Or ask the locals where the Arena is, I hear there are some stellar lines there, mostly hard and being kept secret though. For easy stuff there are three routes under 5.10 at roadside, although they are slabby. Flank has some easy stuff as well, all as soon as you come up the trail. You can TR at places like Pistol Ridge. [ This Message was edited by: fiend on 2001-09-27 21:41 ]
