I am heading to Arizona with my family in January. My family is pretty athletic so some intermediate hikes would be okay. Any suggestions on hikes or peaks that would be cool to do in January. I wanted to do Humphrey's Peak but I'm assuming that in January that would be out of the question. We're open to any suggestions... peak climbing to cool hiking trails. We're going to see the Grand Canyon too... any good trails there that are 'must do's'? Thanks for any recommendations.

Anything near Flagstaff is good. Even in the winter, you just have put on your snow boots. Grand Canyon will have snow for the first few miles on the trails. Sedona would be a great choice such as West Fork or Secret Canyon. Anything is good, really. MD
