Hi there. I just got to Florida from Spain and I'd like to get started in this world. I did some climbing there in Spain but nothing serious. I think here in Florida is not a good place to go out looking for rocks to climb to. So I'd appreciate if any of you could tell about gyms where i can get in shape and get to meet some people who already are into this. Tx for ur time.

you think florida is a good place to go looking for rocks? thats the last place you'll find good climbing. if you are stuck in florida (and you arent a fisherman) you might as well kill yourself. florida is flatter than my abs (thats saying a lot trust me). so move out of florida. or just become a bass angler. scratch that. move out of florida.

If you are in south Florida, Miami has a really nice gym x-treme-rock.com. If you are in Central Florida, Orlando has a nice gym. Climborlando.com and Melbourne is okay. Let me know where you will be located and I can hook you up with climbing partners. I have connections to all the gyms in florida pretty much.
