I've just moved to Charlottesville with my girlfriend and am unemployed, so I have lots of time for climbing. I have a backpack full of gear and would love to use it on some local rock before my professional life calls again. Please email me at zimage@cs.wisc.edu

Send a note to the Blue Ridge Climbing Group <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/brcg> and the Harrisonburg Climbing Group <http://groups.yahoo.com/...HarrisonburgClimbing>

There's a fair bit of activity between the two - some during the week and a lot on weekends. In your intro for the lists, it would be good to list what kind of climbing you do and what range of difficulty you are looking to climb (lead/follow).

I am tied up with work at the moment and am nursing a torn pully tendon in my finger or I'd be interested in going out. You'll find most people go to Seneca, Franklin, Old Rag, and the New generally and sometimes lesser crags and boulders that are a bit closer. Rocky Top Gym is also a good place to meet climbers if you are in C'ville.
