When Mitch and I were there we found a little Italian/Mexican place that was really good. Great pizza. I think it was named Rafaels. Otherwise, we drove to Chattanooga for food. Chattanooga had the typical chain restaurants and some independent places.

I grew up near Foster's. It's a little bit of a drive, but if you head toward Sewanee there's a place called Shenanigans. It's a restaurant/bar for locals and college students. The food isn't spectacular but it's decent, and the atmosphere was always good. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sewanee-TN/Shenanigans/222478721170?v=wall

We always go to Lupe's Pizza in Chattanooga after climbing at Foster's. Good Pizza and prices, and you will likely see some other climbers there.

There's a really good Mexican place I don't remember what it's called but if you go in to town (Tracy City, I think) and rather than making a left at the light (to go by the grocery store) make a right and its RIGHT there on your right (across the street from the liquor store, near the CVS). Also, I've heard that bakery is good, but I've never been. The one in Tracy City. Sorry I can't help more, maybe someone can fill in the details... But the food is REALLY GOOD.

Rafaels has 2 for 1 pizzas on any size so thats always a good option (its fairly close too). Lupe's in Chattanooga is another great option, a bit more expensive but a cool atmosphere (but you have to deal with driving a bit and finding a parking spot which can be difficult downtown).
