Here a good video of crate stacking. If you've never seen it, the shit is hilarious. http://vimeo.com/13218294

They were doing this at Rocktober Fest in Red River Gorge last fall, i think the winner managed 23 crates and they weren't even nice and used a pole to hand them up like in the video, they were throwing them up which adds a whole new layer of difficulty.

It is as fun as it looks, and much better when the crates are tossed to you. Eric

We had a crate-stacking contest at our annual Frost Comp just a few weeks ago... http://www.facebook.com/...ft=10150524459044825 (Not sure if the link will work for non-Facebook people.) A little guy, maybe 12 or 13 years old, won with 20 or 21 crates.

We do crate stacking during team building events and birthday parties. Fun to see what people do with it.

Most climbing fests (Vous, Rfest, etc) as well as comps do this. As stated before, way more fun when theyre thrown at you.

Had a friend's nine year old daughter stack 19 crates (going back down to get them!) and then standing on top to rotate 360°. http://www.facebook.com/...8.2107912.1468020463 Then she started over and stacked 24! They were using an auto-descender from the ceiling of the climbing gym.
