HI, planning a trip toCity of Rocks late Oct, probably Oct 21 weekend,,how is the weather then? OK or cold? appreciate any info, thanks

You will be fine... just bring some warm clothes for nighttime and you might need to wear them during the day depending on what route your on and the weather that day. I find October is the best time to climb the City. Seems the usually afternoon thunderstorms are gone.

sweet, i was thinking of taking a trip up there as well in october. we get a great thing called UEA in utah, don't know what it stands for but it's like spring break...but in october. someone told me they thought it'd be too cold, but this has raised my morale. cold nights are no big deal.

Like I said October is perfect in the City. Shoot it didn't snow until December this year in the city so even November wouldn't be bad. But October you will def. be fine and have a blast, just make sure you have some firewood for a fire at night and you will have a blast. Let me know when you will be going and I'll gladly come down.
