right on about the cars and stuff. that weekend was so busy at the crag, i don't think it was the few extra cars from our group that caused any overflow. and as far as camping goes, i've seen morons try to camp there quite a bit. pretty dumn. i think the positive about this is that the rc.com group was well behaved and took care of camping and parking issues well in advance of coming up.
an interesting note ... early in the planning stages i was the buzzkill who whined that everyone needs to make sure they know where they're camping. well, i forgot to bring the directions to jan's place with me. so on my way up i realize this and figure i can get to campton and find it. well, it's raining and starting to get dark. i manage to explore every road in campton except the one jan's place is on. so i drove down to plymouth and snuck into the college library and got on rc.com to get directions. i'm an idiot. that story seems funny to me.

anyway, as far as the illegal parking, camping goes, everyone from our little clan appeared to happily park in the parking lot.
and we saw the tent in the woods. walked by it on the hike where i *suspect* that i got poison oak. so hopefully they did too.
