Some partners of mine mentioned this, it's an annual end-of-the-season thing that is supposed to be a good time. I'm planning on going, who else?

I may be able to make it for this, and I have a killer chili recipe. I'll keep the thread posted. The only potential wrench is that I might have to work that day.

I am going to be making the trip. I already bought my box of wine for the after party. They ran out of beer before I even arrived last year, but I admit that we were more then a little late. I hope to meet up with some of you.

I'll be there sunday. If you see a long hair with a black camelpack and no rope (partner busted his ankle at work last week) thats me. Pajama pants are a good idea, I may try that.

Man, I'm bummed! I was going, even took Friday off from work, but weather on Friday looks like a washout. Can't stay late on Sunday, 'cause I'm playing for the Damien appreciation show in Annapolis that night. Too long of a drive for a few climbs, even though the thought of free beer and food is real tempting. If anyone's not going, and in the Annapolis area on Sunday; come down to Sharkeys to hear Tom Principato, Nadine Ray, and lots of other great bands. Say hi to Damien (of WHFS and WRNR fame). It's a tribute to him for 40 years in the music business. Oh well, maybe next year.

So how does the cook off work? Do you prepare your chili beforehand and then reheat?

See you down there. If you see a tall guy passed out behind the Gendarme clutching a #2 camalot surrounded by beer bottles...it's probably me
