Jason, Thanks for the updated list! I'm driving down from Portland with a few fellow climbers, one of whom just broke her leg...is there a central location where she can hang out, chat and drink beer??? Looking forward to seeing you all out there :)

Picklejuice, There is a central location for those that are not climbing. It's at Spring Mountain Ranch, same place you're probably camping, and the same place you check-in/register. During the day there are a ton of other activities going on (ie. Crash pad sumo wrestling, Humaneering, slacklining, Yogo etc.)

hey guys, it was a blast meeting some of you out at the rendezvous! cheftops - thanks for all the beta, man! i'll redpoint that 10d next time and will be ready to onsight rebel without a pause! i gotta get strong like you. yo, sorry we missed connecting on day 3 and 4. tigerlilly - it was great running into you everywhere and climbing that first day. hope your feet have healed up well. i'll give you a holllar when i'm ready for the gunks (what's the name of that traversy ledge again?) caliclimbergirl - umm.. WHY did we not climb together? ah yes, you are a traddie and i was a sportie. but, i'm converting. maybe . once i brush up on my new found trad knowledge from the clinics and practice my crack technique - you better make room on that next multipitch classic hanging belay! scott/bob - you guys are hilarious and awesome to climb with. i'll definitely see you in utah or maybe NRG sometime! i'll never forget our crazy climb (see below) bigfatrocks - let's meet up in the wichitas for that trad clinic or in austin/erock anytime, man! ALL: WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLIMB AT RRR? Shady Ladies. 100' 5.7** in Ice Box Canyon Sunday afternoon. We found out exactly why it's called the ice box. Torrential rains that started half way up the lead + pretty cold temp + super whipping winds = sideways Butt-cold rainsheets that made waterfalls that eventuallly poured into the belayers stance at the bottom. I seconded through the blowing rain and mini-waterfalls to clean and retrieve a stuck piece! Would I do it again... Hell YEAH!!! see y'all next year, or sooner! danny (snackmasterb) p.s. Shot in the dark, but anyone up for checking out the New River Gorge Rendevous next month in WV?! http://www.newriverrendezvous.com/
