Good on you for posting that, I wanted to but though it was a bit too controversial given the topic at hand.

It may cause some people to be dissuaded from giving for cancer research; the comic can be easily misinterpreted.

Any change on the paypal thing? It's the only way I can think of donating from sunny bananaland. Pancreatic Cancer took my grandfather, leukemia took my grandfather and my best friend when she was barely 18. Cheers clau. -F

I would guess that Pelotonia won't do paypal directly, because paypal takes a cut and the nonprofit can't issue a tax receipt for that part of the donation? I'm talking out of my ass, here, I have no idea.

Good for you clausti. I have been affected by cancer also. Some ladies I talked to after doing a 150 for some charity said it helps to keep changing positions on the seat. I know how sore I get with just 10-20 miles. Good luck with the ride.

I'm late to the game- but I just put some $$ in the kitty. Good luck, clausti! I know you can do this! I jsut got off a 65-mile ride for breast cancer research this morning :) The Little Red Riding Hood has become my very favorite event. 2,600 women (ONLY!) riding for breast cancer research! I would have loved to do the 100-miles, but the weather was super sketchy and I didn't have it in me this year, so I settled for a metric century. I very much enjoyed the whole ride. I damn near cried when I rode across the finish line under a huge banner that said "VICTORY OVER CANCER" to all who have suffered or lost someone we love, or both- we can do this!
