Crow Hill, but it isn't a boulder.

Yep, that and points further west are always an option when you're done at Crow Hill.

Plenty of bouldering in central mass. Indoors now too with the opening of Central Rock Gym. What part of Mass are you interested in?

I'm not familiar with the Boston area at all. If you want to head out west let me know.

From BC, it doesn't get nearer than Hammond Pond.

Grab a Boston Rocks guidebook if you're planning to be here a while.

For indorr, the biggest and best known place in the Boston metropolitan area is MetroRock, http://www.metrorock.com. Many bouldering and route-climbing options.

For outside, it depends on where you are and how far you want to drive.

Seconded. MA is pretty gym oriented. My advice would be to hang around a decent gym for a while and make some friends. That'll get you to the good outdoor spots pretty quickly.

I also agree with picking up a copy of Boston Rocks, though there is little to nothing about bouldering there. For that, check out New England Bouldering.

Climbing in MA is generally at short, small crags with highly variable quality. There are some pretty crappy places as well as some fantastic little semi-secret crags.

The best part of being a climber in MA is the climbing outside of MA. There is some truly world class stone within a few hours drive.
