You sound like a crack dealer. Freebies at first, then you gotta start to make some purchases...

Only if you're spelling it incorrectly.

Heh, yeah, that's how it happened with me. Gave me a taste of some high quality crack and pow, I was buying all over the place to fuel my habit.

Once I was fully addicted, I was left low and dry, pining for more and all this hardware still aching to be used, which isn't the only thing aching!

And now I'm on the prowl for a hookup...never underestimate the drive of a n00b addict on the prowl!

Have fun out there.

Cheers

Well I don't have a trad rack yet (I'm working on it) but I do have all my gear for all the climbing I can do around here and I'm always more than happy to take new people climbing and let them use it while I'm there. However I recently loaned it out to a friend of mine who works at a gym and like to have never got my stuff back (still didn't get it all back) so basically I learned my lesson there and will never loan my gear out again while I'm not there with it. I ended up just missing 1 BD positron, a cheap $6 headlamp, and 2 BD oval biners that I use for bail biners so I was lucky he didn't get anything of real value. I should have known though when I went to check all my gear and get ready for a trip to Reimer's and I realized I was missing 5 BD positrons and called him on it he was like "oh I thought those were mine" he gave me 4 back which were the ones I was wanting back the most since thats what I use to set up TR anchors. But as he gives them back to me he's like "I think you only had these 4 because I know I stole this other one off so and so the other day." That royally pissed me off… So as of now there are literally only like 4 people that I would ever loan my stuff out to and their my climbing friends I've known my whole life, but that would be pointless because they have their own gear so they wouldn't need it.

Sorry for such a long post, thats just really been bothering me and I saw a place to vent.
