actually russ and i have decided there are two methods the flail & dangle and then the scramble, where you just try and move your way up not always the prettiest site to look at but equally effective.

WOOO HOOO. I am a bit slow but count me in. Last one was a blast and this one is sure to be. Just a reflection on last years get together, and things that would make this one even better.
1) See jules actually get to that last hold on russ's climbing wall.
2) see jules do that without giggling!
3) Make sure corey doesn't get anything spilled on him this time around.
4) Get Kelly a pillow instead of a hand hold.
5)Try not to spend 2 hours trying to clean a tcu. But by krikey rollingstone we got it!
6) When someone yells "ROCK" don't start dancing just pray cause somthing is heading your way.
7) Hopefully your weather over there will be way better than here in April.
Make sure I take more pictures this time and they actually come out.
9)Do more trad with russ as sounds like we both have a rack now? And last year we ran outa daylight.
10) And Hopefully lil cowboy is better this go around as I have 2 kids, similar age and a drag when they are sick. You host folks really ROCK. Thanks Lee

I agree wtih most of yoru points Lee
although it was Nate on teh pillow hold not kelly...Kelly was just laughing lazily next to him. And my Trad rack will be pretty small still at that time...mabey a couple of cams and most of a set up nuts....I will try to get a few more before then. Deffinatly a goal for this year....start Trad!!!
Looking forward to seeing all you folks in a month+. The weather has been pretty mild over here recently. semi cold at night (no worse than last time) and then like the 40s with lots fo sun in the day. Not a lot of wind yet...but that comes in April...will have to see. Should be good time.

otter just brought it up so i will put it up for everyone else. anyone wanting to climb on friday too or just saturday and sunday. russ and i were planning on us being down there on sat and sun only but anyone else who wants another day climbing let everyone else know and then those that want to can find someone else to go with if they need to.
also we did get the new guide book for the coullee so we have two now. i think everyone really liked the sunshine wall i will try and make a few extra copies of that too for everyone if they want.

I understnad there was some interest in the MONSTER BBQ again. if that isi the case, I can try to get that reserved again too. let me know on that...no elk to cook this time...but we can get burgers and dogs (a few around teh neighborhood I can think of) and go from there

Just bringing this back up. I will try to email (PM) everyone in the next week or so, that have said they are coming.
Just tryign to get a head count and Yea or Nay on the MONSTER BBQ.
BTW, I am off that weekend, so Saturday adn Sunday climbing for The Russman, I am pumped :D

:D I am still in for the gathering. April 4 - 6, huh? It looks as if my climbing parnter, Corey, will be unable to attend, along with our good friend Jared. So, I am on my own. Actually, I plan to bring my own belayer. :lol:

Russman, just got your PM and Yupp I am still in. Can't believe it is March allready! I will be heading over Sat. a.m. and sounds like the place to meet is where we were last time? I am going to contact mick and possibly carpool with him again. Cheers lee :D
