Greetings from the Great White North!
The first few signs of ice were forming on the rock this week so Ice season can't be that far away! Why does anyone go to the Michigan Ice Climbing Festival? The climbing for sure, but it’s also to be inspired by the amazing slide shows, it’s to learn and develop skills, and it’s to reconnect with friends and fellow climbers from around the Midwest!
The 2012 Michigan Ice Fest will take place February 2-5th in beautiful Munising Michigan. Nestled on the shores of Lake Superior, Munising Michigan offers some of the country’s most outstanding ice climbing.
The festival offers the first time climber an opportunity to learn the thrilling sport of Ice Climbing on the scenic shores of Lake Superior.
The line up for the Michigan Ice Fest has been confirmed!
