I just published a climbing ebook on Amazon called 101 Rock Climbing Tips and Tricks: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007G2VSBK It's free for today only, and I'm giving it away so that I can get more reviews on the Amazon page there. If you like it, please review it. Oh, and you can read it in your browser if you don't have a Kindle. Just go to http://read.amazon.com after downloading it. Thanks!

Thank you. Its a nice book for starting out in all three TR/Sport/Trad. For the eventual price, would be a great gift to a newbie partner.

Reading it right now, will update this post with my feedback. 1: tip 3, taking a short fall. Should specify that a really short fall will get you smacked into the wall, bruising your knees. Also, try to practice falls on overhangs, not slabs (I know, obvious, but this book is for newbies, right?)

Josh Here's the free Kindle app for the iPad: http://www.amazon.com/...lnd?docId=1000490441 I don't have an iPad so don't know exactly how shopping/delivery works on it, but I believe you can just download the app and download the ebook for free in the app itself, then read it right there.

Next, when you choose to buy an ebook it will ask you which Kindle device to deliver the file to and you can choose 'blueeyedclimber's iPad' or something like that from the drop down list.

Remember when I told you that you would give up with the daily tip thing after a week? I eat my words. Good job.

I don't have time today to actually read it, but did you include items like: * don't get a butt-hurt if someone disagrees with you on rc.noob * don't believe experienced beginners * harden the fuck up!!!

Congratulations on following through to getting that project done! I posted a link to my ClimbAddict FBook page. Mentioned the Feedback desire, but I see you have gotten 4 FB's already too! Nice that people have given back.

I don't agree with all of your tips, but that's ok. I really liked your use of photographs to clarify your tips. I thought they definitely added to the work; and were not overdone.

It was free only on the day I posted it, and I said as much ("It's free for today only") but you are correct in that it was no longer free. I didn't join RC.com 10 years ago just so I could steal people's personal info for the last few days. And how would one even go about stealing personal information via Amazon.com, anyway?

Unless I'm mistaken? So you're saying that I'm somehow stealing identities by simply linking to a page on Amazon.com, the largest retailer on the internet? Or that I've somehow managed to hack Amazon, and the best idea I can come up with is steal a few rock climbers' identifications? Wow. Idiot.
