I was just wondering if anyone has seen or currenly owns a Metolius Crag Station. If so, what do you think about it? Does it have plenty of room? Any interesting features? Just curious.

Well, I have finally answered my own question. Altrec.com put the Crag Station on sale for $78 ($75 is wholesale!) so I had to get it. In my assesment, it is pretty roomy and versatile. It is listed at 2850 cu in, but I think they should have made it an even 3000. I managed to stuff my rope bag (w/60m, 10.5mm rope), (sport) rack, shoes, and chalk bag inside with a little room to spare while clipping my harness to the outside. There are a couple of nice zipper pockets on the sides for things like biners/webbing, etc and 4 small daisy chains at the top. It is not the most comfortable pack in the world nor the easiest to adjust, but all in all, it's definitely worth what I paid for it. Don't think I would have paid retail for it though. Now I just need to find a place for all my girlfriend's stuff.
