kinda hard to read at first, but the work is accurate and well done. dave has climbed most of the listed routes in the book, unlike all previous ic guidebook authors, so he speaks of personal knowledge. on a side note dave lives the true climbers lifestyle. no job, sleeps only at crags and bums from friends in a serious way. buy the guidebook and support this desert sw icon. just dont smoke bowls with him if has been scratching his nuts or picking at scabs.

Any book has got to be better than the existing Ruckman guide. The only thing its good for, except as paper to start a fire, is getting you to the crag.
