Justa heads up to all the folks headed to the boulder blast - three of our gear packs were stolen by a guy in a beat up old white pickup (older ford chevy, square body) with a diamond plate metal tool box and maybe a water tank in the bed. He is cruising the campground - so if ya see him, report him or do not buy anything! he might also be an ebay user under sukhdev. he has a 3-4 yr old daughter and a med sized white dog.

Yup, I found the perfect lynching tree down there this weekend. I also found out that the caps on the old oil wells come off "fairly" easily.

I'm not sure if it was the guy, but earlier this week I saw a guy up there in a white pick up with a tool box acting suspicious. I reported his license plate to Pinal County.
He was cruising through the parking area looking at people vehicles. If anything turns up, I guess the cops will notify you. Good luck...

even though the damage has been done - I sure would like to see the guy get his.
If it is him - Oak Flats would be much better off without him cruising the area.
