We are new to climbing. I took my two oldest kids to a local inside wall for lessons and then I got hooked. We are taking six months off in 2003/2004 to do a round-the-world trip. I was looking for a theme and I think climbing will be it. We will try and climb in every country we visit. I would like to hear from folks who have climbed SEA or Middle East (Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Thailand, Laos, et cetera).
I like hanging around with my wife and kids (three of them between 6 and 12), hiking through the bush, snowshoeing, drinking Mexican beer, and wrestling black bears that we come across when hiking.
