I started climbing in high school in 1978 after attending a Spokane Mountaineers Climbing
School and has been an active climber ever since. I have been a weekend warrior kind of
climber and can humbly lead 5.11’s on good days and has done a few big
walls including the Nose on El Captain. I climbed my first 5.12 at age 44 in 2004!
