I live the "guidebook lifestyle" of climbing spring, summer, and fall then writing books in the winter under the SuperTopo label (http://www.supertopo.com). I also publish books by other authors including Greg Barnes (boltdude) who has written awesome books to Tuolumne Meadows, Red Rocks and helped with the Yosemite guide.
Favorite climbing area is El Capitan and for about six years of my life i spent every free second on it (up to 57 ascents now). I now climb at other areas but El Cap will always be the best and i still get up on it a few times a year.
I'm President and Founder of the American Safe Climbing Assn (http://www.safeclimbing.org) and while Greg Barnes does 90% of the work now as director, i still really enjoy replacing a few bolts here and there and trying to help organize bolt replacement in other areas. I'm a former board member of the Access Fund and really support their work as well as the work by the American Alpine Club.
