Started as an obsessed trad climber with delusions of pure adventure but through new routing I have come to realize that there is nothing traditional about the many different styles of climbing that are given that name. Now I happily embrace all forms of climbing and take most of my inspiration from other climbers who do as well. Temporary specialization is necessary sometimes to achieve great things, but sometimes when you hit a plateau in your training or get frustrated with the logistics of long routes and big projects it is good to change things up to find the joy again.
