Actually, there are three good ones. Horizon Roc, the biggest and most structured. East of downtown -> http://www.horizonroc.com/NACC2008info.php Allez-Up!, medium size, friendly, fairly close to downtown. Open during daytime -> http://www.allezup.com/ André Laurendeau / Vertical, west of downtown, friendly, great boulder area, huge overhang. Open evenings only during the week, and during the day on week-ends -> http://www.escaladevertical.com/?lang=EN Which one you prefer is a matter of personal choice and location. You can find good routes and partners at any of the three. Hope this helps.

Hey! Do you climb top rope or lead? I have a regular partner but its always nice to have others too for those days your schedules dont match up. Right now i just top rope - but my buddy does both - so even just to try out the gym and meet some pple and go from there - you're more than welcome to join me/us any night we can find that works for all of us. Feel free to PM me on here - and we can exchange info! Oh - I have a membership at allez up - but find its soooo busy most evenings - you're waiting around alot for routes but it is more conveniently located for me. I hadnt known there was a third option (new to mtl) so id be up for checking that out too! Ttys!
