Hi to all the Montreal Climbers out there, I'm looking for keen local climbers to climb indoor and out doors with, hopefully with people who know the local crags. The reason is I'm moving with my family to Montreal from Australia and am keen to get involved with the local climbing community. I've been climbing for over 15years and climb trad and sport lead to about 5.11d or 12a not really sure as my last climbing trip in the US at the Gunks had me spanked on some 5.10s so I guess it could be climbing type and style dependent. I'm also keen to do some trips in to the States and when winter comes, have a go at ice climbing and ski touring. I arrive in Montreal on the 9th of May. If anyone is keen to show an Australian around the local scene. Please reply to this thread or send me a direct email.
