Hey all. Just moved to Canmore and I'm looking for a little local guidance. I know it's still winter, but I'm sure there are a few others out there that don't mind a bit of cold weather! I can climb at a 5.10c/d but enjoy a challenge... Thanks in advance!

Hi Sean! I'm moving to Lake Louise in May and I'm looking for a Climbing Partner who likes adrenaline!! Now I can lead 5.11c but I'm looking to sent some 5.12a's this month! I don't know much about the Rockies Area but I'm going to buy a Climbing Guide and I'm we'll find awsome climbs there! So, if you still looking for a partner in the area, we could keep in contact and meet in may for huge climbing time if you fancy! Hope to hear from you! Cheers!

Hi I'm living in Canmore ATM, and am keen to get out more, currently leading 5.9, but should be leading 5.10 plus again fairly soon. I'm off work and free for 3 weeks from the 27th may and keen to get out as much as possible. Have a sports rack and single rope and the bow valley sports guide. Cheers Andy

I am going to working in Calgary for the next 4 months and would love to climb but literally know no-one. I'm up for climbing most weekends and have my own gear for sport climbing but no trad rack. I lead 5.9 on sport routes and can follow to 5.10a at a push. Up for pushing myself and getting stronger over the summer. I'd love to hit some big multi-pitch routes in Canmore / Banff if someone's willing to lead ... I'll buy the beers after Cheers, Anthony

Depends what your looking for, yam, chinamams, eeor are great places for trad and a bit of sport. Grassi is a good place to go for fun days and is more of a gym, although polished. A lot of other places right now you can't get to because of the flood/flow of cougar
