Thanks to The Great Recession, I'm free to climb during the weekday on the Escarpment (Milton or Collingwood areas). Looks to be warm enough next week for some top roping warm-ups at Rattlesnake on some of the recently anchor bolted 5.7 - 5.9s on the West Cliff. Anybody available & interested?

Hey Ralph, Metcalf is closer for you, isn't it? I'd be game to meet up there a bit later when things dry out and warm up a touch. As usual, i've got lots of weekdays as well. Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave, Metcalfe is closer as the crow flies but Milton is closer as the car drives. There are some nice 5.9ish sport routes at Metcalfe you might like as well as the odd trad route. Have you ever been to Baldy? Ralph

I'm generally game for a climb myself.. all I need is a few days notice to make sure the bosses know that I'm starting to get "sick" Only issue for me is that I don't drive.. live in Toronto. If you need a catch and come from Toronto too...hit me up here and we'll sort somethign out! Where are you actually living?

Haven't been to Baldy. Seems to me that i looked at it in the book once but there didn't seem much in the way of moderates. Is that right? I'd be game to check it out.

Hi Parkerkat What sort of grades are you climbing? I live to the west of Milton, so i don't go through TO. It still might not be a big problem, however, as there is a GO station in Milton. Dave

Right nowc can climb pretty much anything that starts with 5.10...but feeling ready for some 11s now, but have yet to take on my first! Baldy is actually quite decent.. there isn't much in terms of 5.8 and 9, but there are a few! ..but lots of 10s...which in my experience are actually more like a Joe Rockheads 5.9. Would be happy to go-train it out to milton and hop in the ride with you there!.. you talking weekdays too? If weekends, I may be able to round up some ppl with a ride! Whats your story?

Scratch that. I am now the latest victim of corporate cutbacks. The upside is more time for climbing. Gecko, looks like I'm available during the day if you need a partner around Rattlesnake, Nemo, etc. Throw me a PM if you are interested and I'll provide contact info. Edited to add: F*ck.
