Hey all, I'll be in Ottawa this weekend (May 15-16). Just wondering for a recommendation for a quick climb or two that I can get in on Sunday before heading back to Montreal. So, preferably, heading east. Close enough that it doesn't become a full-day thing. Sport or trad, it's all good. Thanx all.

In reply to: Hey all, I'll be in Ottawa this weekend (May 15-16). Just wondering for a recommendation for a quick climb or two that I can get in on Sunday before heading back to Montreal. For a quick fix I would reccomend Down Under in Luskville, it is about 30-45mins from downtown with a 5-10min approach. The routes are all sport from 10- to 13+. Should be plenty to keep you entertained for a few hours. Directions (if you don't have them) are: - Take Hwy 148 west from Gatineau (Hull) towards Luskville - Turn right at the firestation in Luskville (there are signs for Luskville falls). - Drive to very end of dirt road and park. - Down under is the west facing overhanging cliff in front of you. - Follow the trail and bear left at the first fork, the rest should be obvious. Have fun!
