I think that we all need to get involved in this. The key to the issue seems to be that the developers have been invited to see what the community support is.......WE ARE THE COMMUNITY!!!!!!
Even folks that are not local need to get involved and speak out. If this project goes through than what next?????
My big concern is that the BC government is in major need of a cash grab and with the Olympics coming here this could be a way for them to get it. Which unfortunatley would damadge Squamish forever! We have an obligation as climers to at least email our concerns to the government.
As bizarre an idea as it is don't put it past BC to let it go through!!!!!!!
