Hello. I'm Cory and have been living and climbing in Squamish, BC, for just over three years now. I've climbed with a number of different people but only ever had one solid climbing partner due to time constraints, etc. I am a safe top-rope (least favorite), sport, or trad (most favorite) climber with a good number of years climbing in and around Squamish, as well as Skaha and a few places in Alberta. I would classify myself as a moderate traditional climber. At best I can lead 5.8/5.9 multi-pitch, but due to a serious ankle sprain, I've been out of the game since last August. The ankle is fine now and I'm just interested in getting out there and getting in some serious mileage on easier stuff (for at least a couple of days) before I get back in the swing of things. Once I'm broken in again I'd love to set my sights on leading Penny Lane and some Octopus Garden routes. I am also very interested in leading Snake on the apron, but not until I have at least a month or so of solid climbing time in. I live in Squamish but have a car and could pick people up or drive from town out to places like Cheakamus Canyon (which I love), the Malamute and so on. I have a full rack and very new 70 meter alpine rope. I am about 6 foot and an inch and around 200 pounds. At the moment my times are totally flexible, so I could start whenever. Looking forward to getting back in the game. Also, just celebrated 1 year off cigarettes a couple of weeks ago and am eager to see what my performance abiltities will be up to by now. I can be reached at any time on my cell at 604-849-0984 (Squamish). Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers, Cory
